Trenton Computer Festival
April 22-23, 2006
The College of NJ
Ewing, NJ
The New Jersey Podcasters Association was represented at the 31st annual Trenton Computer Festival, held April 22-23, 2006 at the College of New Jersey in Ewing Township, NJ. The festival claims the title of the "oldest, largest, and best computer show for personal computer users!"
"TCF was created, in 1976, by Sol Libes, of the Amateur Computer Group of New Jersey and Allen Katz, of The College of New Jersey (then Trenton State College) as an annual educational event with speakers, forums, and user group meetings, an exhibitor area and an outdoor flea market."
NJPA Founder Chris Cavallari presented Podcasting and Vidcasting: or How We're Changing the Entertainment Industry. The hour long presentation covered the basics of podcasting, as well as how podcasting is changing the way we think about entertainment consumptions, both from the perspective of the consumer and the producer. The NJPA had a booth on the show floor, with free demos and free swag to give away. We had a very successful two days, met a lot of great, interesting people, and informed many more about podcasting! Thanks to everyone who helped out.
